Easy Shepard’s Pie

I love this recipe on a cold winter night. It is classic comfort food and serves a crowd!

Pre heat oven 350


1 medium yellow onion, chopped

2 carrots, chopped

2 celery, chopped

1 clove garlic, chopped

1 lb ground beef

1 tsp olive oil (to coat bottom of pan)

In a dutch oven brown and break up ground beef. Once browned add onion, carrots, celery and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes

Add 2 tablespoons flour, mix until no white shows

Add 1 cup beef broth, 1 bag frozen peas and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Season with sea salt and garlic salt

Let boil for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a casserole pan. Cook in oven for 30 minutes covered.

Serve over mashed potatoes with biscuits


Easy biscuit recipe: 

1 1/4 cup birch benders pancake and waffle mix

1/2 cup milk

Mix together

Cook at 400 for 9 minutes
